What is the VRC ?
Vest Respiratory Clearance - an OSHA form that medically clears employees to wear respirators in compliance with the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard. Our process is the simplest, quickest method of getting your team in medical compliance.
Who needs to be cleared?
To be in compliance with OSHA regulations, any individual who wears a respirator on the job, even if the respirator is required for emergency use only.
How does it work?
  1. Sign-in and fill out our proprietary form based on the OSHA questionnaire.
  2. Submit the form for instant review.
  3. If you pass, you are given a signed PDF on the spot. If further information is required, you will be contacted.
Goodbye paper forms, hello interactivity
Vest has developed a proprietary algorithm that allows your candidates to do more than just enter their medical information. Our online respirator clearance program will interact and respond to the information you provide, as you provide it. This means every candidate receives the same exact initial review, making our product the most consistent and compliant medical clearance on the market.

When necessary, who reviews my VRC ?
This is up to your organization. Vest is fully capable of reviewing candidates. However, if you have your own physician or other licensed healthcare provider, your organization can conduct the reviews. Occupational Medicine clinics can benefit from this process as well.
Safety, Security, Dependability
The VRC meets and exceeds HIPAA policies on security. In addition, our system is accessible 24 hours a day, everyday. All of your data is encrypted, stored, and backed up. Whether you're looking for data from yesterday or five years ago, the information is at your fingertips.
Hablamos Español
The workplace is diverse. We are pleased to offer a fully functional version of our VRC in Spanish. Now you can get the same expedited service with your Spanish speaking employees.
No hidden fees
We have no affiliation with any clinics. We're not in the business of running up costs or delivering shocking invoices. We simply want to provide you with the best tools to conduct your business efficiently.
The Vest Respirator Clearance form (VRC) is an OSHA-mandated review that precedes respiratory fit testing and is a part of OSHA Regulation 1910.134 on Respiratory Protection.
